I take great pride in creating, developing, and motivating crews as both a leader and a member to achieve customer satisfaction. I am open for any crew position including extensive culinary experience to open the opportunity for the adventurous to the routine schedule. My focus is on vessel responsibility and the areas of customer service and satisfying the needs of the guests while rewarding and recognizing valued crew efforts in reaching team goals. I am currently operating sailing charters in Ft Lauderdale, FL USA. Previously ca[taining a Research Vessel in the South Pacific as well as yacht charters in St. John – USVI and have previously operated a number of vessels involved in the travel / hospitality / tourism industry. Prior to developing my maritime career, I developed resorts in the Southeast US and Alaska with great success. I have been involved in the yacht industry in varying degrees for my entire life to my current position of Master Captain (100 ton with sailing and towing endorsements) with experience in pleasure yachts, dolphin sightseeing cruises, pilot boat captain and Sea Tow training to positions varying from culinary, deck crew, engineering mechanics, and racing sailboat expertise. With an email that will accept reasonably sized photos, I will send some from the annual St John sailboat race where I came in fourth after 3 professionally funded J boats. The race was a "pursuit race" where in order to finish about the same time, the sailboats were started on a handicap determined by length; so it was a real show stopper for everyone while I took over on the last leg as the rest of the pack finished moments behind. Understandably, my efforts to market my past successes through non-personal correspondence at this time and look forward to the opportunity to have a conversation in person would help to underscore my "Can Do" approach for achievement of goals. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Craig Markowski
