Seasonal Chief Stewardess required for a 40m Private M/Y in the Med (FCAL)

· Do you have strong service, housekeeping and crew management skills?
· Do you have a minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Chief Stew on a similar sized vessel?
We are currently looking for an experienced, dynamic and professional Chief Stewardess for this Private 40m M/Y based in the Western Med. This is a seasonal position starting immediately and going through until October/November.
The chief stewardess will carry out her duties and her responsibilities under the direction of and authority of the captain. As the person ultimately responsible for the interior of the vessel and for providing superior hospitality service to meet the owners and guests expectations, she will also train and manage the lower ranking stews under her supervision.
The right candidate would need to meet the following requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Chief Stewardess
  • Fluent English language
  • Excellent managerial skills
  • High end service skills
  • Housekeeping - turnovers and turndowns, product knowledge and surface care – in order to train the second and junior stewardess’s.
  • Laundry - care of delicate fabrics, knowledge how to use and maintain housekeeping machines - in order to train the second and junior stewardess’s
  • Experience in the provisioning of food, amenities and housekeeping/laundry products
  • Understanding of the safety procedures on board
  • Performing watch duties when required
  • Drivers licence essential
  • Fit and well presentable look
  • Excellent work ethics and eye for detail
  • Fast leaner and self-motivated.
Qualifications required:
  • Security Awareness
  • Valid ENG1
  • Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate
  • Valid Schengen Visa for the entire season
This is a seasonal position, starting immediately in the South of France.
Salary: TBC
