Position Title:Junior Technical SuperintendentPosition SummaryThe junior Technical Superintendent is the Companyâ?'s representative in the day-to-day operations of the assigned vessel and is expected to communicate and advance the relationships by providing excellent support services to the yacht Owners. With a knowledge of yacht operations, yachtâ?'s systems, procurement and personnel management, the junior Technical Superintendent performs concentrated work under pressure of multiple vessels and tight deadlines. To be successful in the role, the Junior Technical Superintendent must possess the ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) and is required to coordinate and liaise closely with the Supervisor of technical Department, the Yacht Administrator, the Crew Administrator and the Safety Superintendent assigned to the yacht, as well as with client Captains, and Owners. As part of the management team, the junior Technical Superintendent must maintain effective team relationships with staff in the Charter and Sales departments. The Junior Technical Superintendent reports directly to the Supervisor of Technical Superintendents and works closely with the Yacht Management team members.Work is conducted also outdoors visiting boats, meeting with yacht captains, crew, and owners aboard vessels.Local, national and international travel is required 30-40 % of time. Ability and willingness to travel internationally is required;Key Duties & Responsibilities1. Assistance with MINI-ISM application onboard assigned yachts;2. Assist with organizing Vessel Maintenance and purchasing of consumable, spare parts and services;3. Assisting in the planning and execution of planned yard periods and out of service maintenance periods.4. Yacht operations and Logistics;5. Budget Control and collaboration with Accounting department6. Crew training and control in collaboration with Crew Department;7. Documentation and Certificate Control.Requirements of the job (essential skills, qualifications and experience):US citizen or Green card HolderJob experienceKnowledge of yacht operations and onboard systems;Experience of a minimum of 2 years working experience in the Yachting industry is preferred.Essential skillsMulti-skilled, Client focus, Commitment, time management, work planning, team work, problem solving, initiative, decision making, ongoing improvement attitude.Fluency in English is a requirement, a second language like French, Italian or other languages is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Package.To apply please submit your resume and cover letter to Karene Silvera at
