Position: Assistant Crew AdministratorLocation : Fort Lauderdale, FloridaStart date: ASAPRequirements: Must be legal to work in the United States. Green card or US Citizenship.This is an opportunity to work with the largest yacht brokerage company worldwide, Fraser Yachts.Reliable, positive and friendly personality.Good verbal communication skills, confident with building relationships with clients and crew. Organized and flexible. Must be able to multitask.Recruiting or staffing background, former sales background and a yachting background are all a HUGE plus.
Job Experience:
.Experienced in crew administration, preferably in the maritime sector. Essential skills:Organized and disciplined, efficient in keeping strict control on date validity and deadlines in view of all crewing matters.Good communication skills, allowing and efficient contact with the Captains of the managed yachts.Maritime Labor Convention 2006 (MLC) knowledge is essential, general knowledge of maritime regulations, International Safety Management Code, and STCW 95 (as amended in 2010) crew training and certification requirements are a plus.Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accept and manage orders from clients.
Maintain a consistent schedule.
Interview candidates.
Process candidates, including reference checks and file maintenance.
Make submissions to clients via e-mail and in person.
Follow up on clients â active and past.
Develop good working relationships with crew and clients.
Maintain TCNet client and crew information.
Submit invoicing to clients and follow up on payments.
Communicate with all levels at TCN and Fraser Yachts.
Participate in marketing strategies.
Participate in TCN and Fraser Yachts events as requested.
Special projects as assigned.EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree preferred.ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Monday through Friday with week-ends off. Also includes some boat shows and networking events. This time can be somewhat flexible.Salary range: TBD in private.
Package : Health Insurance, dental, vision (with small employee contribution), IRA account - Company matches up to 3%. 10 days holiday after 1 year. 5 days can be used after 6 months. Annual bonus if company sales goals are met. Annual reviews. 12 paid holidays per year plus additional with longevity.
