Sous Chef position available for Private 70m M/Y

This is an opportunity for a Chef who would like to have a shorebased living arrangment.

​Start: ASAP
Location: Middle East
​Package: Salary paid in local currency; 30 days leave with 1 x return flight. Shared accommodation ashore - shared cabin onboard on trips; Private Medical inurance

​Experience and attributes required:

​* Professional culinary experience preferably working on 50m+ yachts or ashore within a luxury hotel/restaurant
* Exceptional time management skills when preparing and serving dishes
* Experience and knowledge of European cuisine as well as demonstrate a strong understanding of Asian cuisine
* Team player and understand the need to stand in for others where necesary or requested by department head/Captain
* Must assist with the maintenance of high stand or hygiene in galley, mess rooms, pantries and storerooms
* Positive attitude and willingess to learn and develop within the role
* Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm and courteous at all times
​​* High level of fluent English both oral and written

Qualifications required:

​* STCW with security awareness/PDSD
* Seafarer's Medical Certificate (with 6 months' validity)
​* Seafarer's Discharge Book (mandatory)
​* Food and Hygiene Level 2 (mandatory)
​* Vaccination card with Yellow Fever and Hep B vaccines (preferable)

​Professional appearance/non smoker/no visible tattoos
​Male only due to cabin arrangements
