The vessel is 40m, Princess build and a private yacht. The boat is used for the summer season and in winter it goes to a shipyard in Germany (the crew gets placed in apartments for this period). The summer season is spent in Russia and the boat does frequent river trips. There are 10 crew in total (3 girls on the interior) and it is a multi-national crew – currently a mixed nationality crew of South African, English, Australian and a New Zealander on board. Successful candidates must have English as their first language. The crew are a relatively young (20-40) and active and a close knit group who like to do crew activities frequently.
They are ideally looking for a candidate who has had 2 FULL seasons experience and who really knows what she is doing in terms of housekeeping and Service. She, due to cabin arrangements, must show initiative and is able to complete tasks quickly and efficiently without having to be constantly check up on. The Chief Stewardess has a dual role of purser so accounts can take up a fair bit of her time. Therefore she needs someone who can take the reins, interior wise, and get on with tasks at hand. It’s a great opportunity for anyone that is wanting a step up from a junior position. They must be able to take direction and constructive criticism very well and is also able to handle pressure. Most of the crew enjoy water sports or being active, so we would like someone that would like to join in and fit in well with the group. It’s a really wonderful boat so it’s a great work environment!

Certificates required: STCW and medical (with 6 months validity), Food and Hygiene Level 2. Anything else is considered a bonus. The itinerary is the same each summer and winter.
