Seeking PADI instructor for conservation site
An exciting opportunity has come up to join the Coral Cay Conservation (CCC) team in the Philippines as a voluntary ‘PADI Scuba Instructor’.
Dates: 25th April – 29th August 2018 (approx. 4 months)
CCC is an NGO that has been working throughout the tropics since 1986. We apply the ‘citizen science’ approach to utilise volunteers from all backgrounds to survey the reef systems in order to produce baseline data to create coastal management plans.

You will be able to build on your species ID knowledge learning how to identify approximately 40 species and subspecies of fish, 20 species of coral and other species (i.e. gorgonians) and 30 species of inverts, plus how to conduct surveys. On successful completion of this training you will be certified as a Reef Check Indo-Pacific Eco Diver.

Providing safe SCUBA tuition to company personnel, expedition volunteers and their counterparts
The maintenance and stock control of SCUBA equipment
Enforcing policies on expedition safety on site
Safe dive planning
The maintenance of SCUBA training records
The maintenance of SCUBA equipment and maintenance schedules
